The whole school was out for a fire drill on the day after the 140th anniversary of the 1868 Hayward earthquake.

Farmer Ana brought her produce to Longwood again this week.
She had red tomatoes, and green beens, and yellow squash.

A DAY IN THE GARDEN

We spent a wonderful day in the garden today.
We searched for leaves, and roots, and stems, and seeds,
We looked for where the plants get water and energy.
We even used the dirt in our pictures.
Mr. E, our garden coordinator, gave us all a taste of the different tomatoes growing in the garden.
We even found some seeds inside the tomatoes.
