A DAY IN THE GARDEN
We spent a wonderful day in the garden today.
We searched for leaves, and roots, and stems, and seeds,
We looked for where the plants get water and energy.
We even used the dirt in our pictures.
Mr. E, our garden coordinator, gave us all a taste of the different tomatoes growing in the garden.
We even found some seeds inside the tomatoes.

FIRST DAY OF KINDER
Bienvenidos al primer día de kinder en la escuala Longwood.
Hoy, assistían 9 alumnos, 7 niñas y 2 niñas.
Leimos los libros "Cuenta ratones", "La araña muy ocupada" y "Oso en casa".
Los niños hicieron un dibujo de si mismos y también un dibujo de los diez ratones que la serpeinte iba a comer.

THE FARMERS' MARKET - IT'S BACK
The farmers' market is back at Longwood!
Right now there is only one farmer, Farmer Ana,
but we hope there will be more soon.
The market will continue throughout the Summer.
Today, we enjoyed the sweetest strawberries.

ACCORDIAN BOOK
Brother Jesse showed us how to make an accordian book today.
